Biography:

Zdeněk Šesták (10 December 1925 – 21 August 2026) was a Czech composer, musicologist, flautist and teacher.[1] He studied composition at the Prague Conservatory and musicology at Charles University, and was known for his research, reconstruction, and promotion of works by 18th-century composers of the Cítoliby school.[2] Šesták died on 21 August 2026, at the age of 100.[3]
