Erasmito Bultrón
Sadness and pain fill the hearts of the family and friends of the troubadour Erasmito Bultrón , due to his sudden death.
With 27 years of artistic career, Bultrón had a cry and a saloma that distinguished him from the rest of the troubadours , in addition, he always gave himself and printed an unmatched passion to the Panamanian tenth .
The legacy of each verse and the saloma of “ El guerrillero herrerano ”, as the troubadour was also known, is a legacy that will transcend the history of music .
More than a year ago, Bultron was diagnosed with stomach cancer . “I became a patient at the Oncology Hospital. Three months ago they revealed the diagnosis to me,” he said in August 2023.
The troubadour, in addition to performing on stage , was dedicated to agriculture , since it was the livelihood of his home, however, little by little his health was declining, he began with three chemotherapies in a period of 90 days and by July of this year he was receiving the same amount per week.
The costs of the treatment were high and his family was having a hard time covering the expenses, so they turned to the people for help, they held activities and evenings of singing , in which several troubadours participated to help their colleague.
Unfortunately, Bultrón lost his battle against cancer, a loss that has saddened his colleagues, who have not hesitated to express their condolences and support for his family.
“He lost his battle against cancer. Rest in peace, man,” “Peace to his soul and resignation to his family,” “You were a great warrior, may God receive you in his glory,” “One of the best salomas, great troubadour, peace to his soul,” and “A voice that was not easy to imitate, that saloma and those cries are gone along with a great friend. Rest in peace,” are some of the messages that can be read on social media.
The programs “A lo panameño” and “Hecho en Panamá” also made posts to say goodbye to “El guerrillero herrerano.”
